Anyone who lives in Sitka knows the White Elephant. That endearing second-time-around over-crowded dusty thrift store is where I picked up my first camera. An old Minolta with the batteries taped in place.. Since that day back in 2009 I've had a camera in hand and slowly but surely, By spending my summers commercial fishing out of my home town of Sitka, Alaska, I was able to buy my first dslr camera. After that I approached my backyard with a new appreciation. I spend all my free hours exploring, photographing and subsisting of the gorgeous tract of Public lands we get to call our backyard.
